About Front Porch Band
Front Porch Band is a Christian band featuring early Jesus Movement songs as well as originals written by band members. Their music blends the timeless essence of early Christian rock with a contemporary twist, resonating with both long-time enthusiasts and new listeners. Embodying a laid-back yet soul-stirring style, the performances of Front Porch Band evoke a sense of spiritual connection while delivering pure musical delight.
How did it all start?
Christian musician friends started gathering on the front porch for informal jam sessions. Next thing you know other music/worship lovers started showing up to listen and engage. Eventually a band was born and what do they call it? It was a no brainer...Front Porch Band!
The band continues to gather regularly on the porch, and the audience is growing naturally through word of mouth. All you need to bring is a lawn chair and a friend and a heart of worship!

The band has recently been invited to perform at a variety of locations and venues. And it all started with friends getting together playing music on the porch. God sure does move in unique and exciting ways!

THE SURPRISE!
Well, you found the surprise! Chip Gumienny, the drummer (in the front)! He is a friend of Kevin, our electric guitar player, and came highly recommended. He played with us recently and he is a great fit. He loves the Lord, and yes, he's got the rhythm. We are just praying about the Lord's final confirmation.
